it's Tuesday afternoon and im sitting behind the steering wheel in beautiful Norway the lakes, mountains and trees is giving me a hard time with keeping my eyes on the road Tobias, my good friend (and creative director) is sitting next to me we're not talking about anything but there's a lot of talk going on it's Andrew Huberman and Rick Rubin whos discussing the art of creativity in between listening to those two legends, i reflect on my week im driving home from an incredible 3-day content trip tomorrow is the first "open office" day where my clients are spending a day at my office and on thursday im doing a workshop for clients on "the perfect week" i smile and think to myself "great timing, Fred" yeah, it's been a great week it's now Friday and the client workshop yesterday went well tomorrow, it's my moms birthday so im spending the day with the fam and on sunday, i'll do some chill work this is literally the week I used to dream about i always told myself "when I make $X, then i'll be able to Y" turns out, it was cope i got to the perfect week when i allowed myself to live the life i wanted to it started with finding the tasks that filled my cup and remove the ones that drained it i did it by building constraints and setting rules
i used to think "the perfect week" and freedom meant no rules i've learned it's the straight opposite creativity only exists in constraints the week I used to dream about didn't show up when I finally had enough money or clients or proof it showed up when i decided to play the game by my own rules best, fred P.S. new YouTube video out on my channel "Frederik Pahuus", it elaborates on this exact topic: "how i built a business i'd never want to retire from" P.P.S its a good video P.P.P.S i made it, so i might be biased |
I write about unique mechanisms, my marketing philosophy "Show Don't Tell" and content ecosystems. I send an email every morning on the journey from $500k/year to $2m/year while following my rules.

last week, the ultimate underdog Paraguay knocked out the 2014 champions, Germany, out of the World Cup in the round of 16 a huge upset that no one really saw coming the game ended up in a penalty shootout after 120 minutes of even football imagine walking towards that ball with a whole country depending on you if you miss the final kick, you're destined to be ripped apart in the media the following day but not this time..
