when i lived in sunny dubai and my business did $217,000 per month, i didn't feel very rich

last month, my business only did 1/4 of that number

the taxman takes half of it

i only see the sun twice per year in denmark

and yet

i've never felt richer

the digital coffee shop model wasn't designed to make me rich in cash fast

if I wanted a quick jump in revenue, i could've picked the restaurant on the other side of the road

they serve a money back guarantee together with a nice video sales letter on the side

the menu also comes with a lovely dessert: a large ad spend

that menu would've made me lots of money fast

i once took a brand new offer from 0 to $100k/mo in 120 days (a german version of my first coaching biz)

but again, i didn't feel rich while doing it

my stripe account showed me $46k last month

its not $100k or $217k

but damn, i feel rich

because every single day i wake up to a model that's designed around my life

• i spend every morning on writing and doing creative work
• i only take calls for 5-6 hours every week, and when i do, it's with clients i love working with
• i dont do sales calls, i get clients through my content, my Menu Card and through email/DMs
• i work with my friends
• my communication is an extension of me that attracts clients who resonates with me, the model and my ways of doing things (this is the best part)
• i have time and energy every day for my girlfriend, family and friends (this is the best part of the best part)

all of the things above makes me feel rich

i started out in this online space by walking in the footsteps of mentors

blindly following their advice

it worked!

but i built their version of a dream business, not my own

fortunately, i had the guts to take a few steps back so i could take 10 forward
