do you work with people that don't do the work? on May 1st i onboarded 7 people into fred's inner circle the very first intake actually the 90 day "love it or leave it" period has now passed 4 of them just renewed 3 of them didn't that puts me at exactly 60% renewal, which is the same rate i've held for 2 years straight on paper, i'm fine with that but the reason to why people leave always haunts me i thought it would be interesting to show you the numbers behind the 3 who left vs the 4 who stayed i'll give you the 90 days rundown fast the three who left posted 19 pieces of content combined on Instagram and 3 YouTube videos the four who stayed posted more than 200+ times on Instagram and 25 YouTube videos do you notice a pattern? this isn't a story about how posting more content makes your business better (it sure helps) instead it's about what those numbers actually represents below the surface the four who renewed didn't just post 200+ pieces.. they did the work every single day and renewed for one very simple reason.. they realized that the gameplan works if they continue to do the work and show up and over the last 90 days, they've seen a (significant) financial return to justify continuing simple as that the 3 who left posted 19 pieces total across 90 days but more than that they weren't willing to do the work in reality, i could just ignore it but i can't because they are incredible people and business owners and that's why it haunts me.. "why couldn't I get them to do the work?" after 4 years in the consulting space, it's still the question I ask myself the most especially when I put my head on the pillow every night i wish they'd done the work not for the sake of my renewal rate but so they could've experienced the same feeling as 1 out of the 4 clients who are renewing i didn't do the work the client did i was just fortunate enough to be the guy with the map he decided to put his faith in best, fred P.S If you want to do the work (also when it sucks), you should continue reading: I got 3 spots left for August.
