Digital Coffee turns 18 months old today! For context, this isn't my first coaching business, it's my second. My first coaching business, Short Form Society, taught beginners how to make their first $5k by starting their own marketing agency. I launched and ran the business with a partner for about 18 months, then we decided to close it down and part ways. I thought it would be fun to compare the numbers, SFS first and then Digital Coffee:
Short Form Society taught me many great things. How to be a leader, how to scale aggressively, how to understand numbers and what’s possible with enough sacrifices. The most important thing I learned? How I didn’t want my business and life to be. Lifes too short to build other peoples dream businesses. I listened to all your favorite gurus. “Outsource client delivery, it’s not scaleable” “Spend more money on ads” “Find the price pr. call and fill the calendar of your sales team” It works, but just like everything else in life, it comes with a price. A price I wasn’t willing to pay. So, I launched Digital Coffee as the most egotistical thing ever: A solution to my own problems. My content became an extension of myself, and now, I just talk about the things im doing in real time. It’s a lot more fun to create and im actually proud of posting it. My messaging went from broad to niche, since I mainly just talk to Fred a few years ago, who didn’t know there was another way of reaching his goals. If you told him back then, that he would be making $500k/year in profit without sales calls while talking to clients 3 times per week and then spending the rest of his time writing, testing and being creative, he would have laughed. Ohh, and yeah, most importantly: my clients. I consider the majority of them as friends as this point (even though my mentor back in SFS told me that was a bad move authority wise). 37 people wanted to implement the Digital Coffee Shop philosophy into their business, 23 of them are active today. Many more are interested (thank you), but i’ve been full capacity for the last 3 months. Im building the backbone of the Digital Coffee Shop universe. It takes a lot of time (and money). I want to run the coffee shop for the next +10 years, so if im not willing to spend 20% of that on creating the foundation, then im not gonna make it 🤣 April 1st, I open the doors again. Thank you! Best, Fred |
I write about unique mechanisms, my marketing philosophy "Show Don't Tell" and content ecosystems. I send an email every morning on how im going from $513k profit in 2025 to $1m profit in 2026. Check it out!
wednesday is one of my 3 days every week where i talk to clients i want to take you through one of the convos, since it's a pattern i experience every week this client and i ended up arguing about why he should stop doing certain tasks that is no longer worth his time he is currently doing $35k in MRR and he wants to double that within the year his only 1,5 month old paid ads setup is working incredibly well its turning $1 into $10... in MRR... but whenever he has some "free time" he defaults...

Yesterday, Tobias and I grabbed a sandwich, a white monster and a notebook, then hopped in the car and set the location for Toftum Bjerge. It’s a 25 minute drive from my hometown, and a place my family often visits for a nice walk. It's beautiful. Outside of the essentials (white monster), we also brought a camera and a microphone. Most importantly: NO scripts or teleprompters. They are banned in Toftum Bjerge, you will be sent straight to jail if you’re seen using a teleprompter there. The...
