it's sunday afternoon here in cloudy Denmark and I just arrived home from a very special mastermind in Austria 5 days a room (and spa) full of entrepreneurs most of them 10 years older than me bigger businesses, more proof and resumes as impressive as the views of the Austrian alps and yet they were the ones who came to me about content their brand their communication at first, I didn’t get it just a few days ago when I was packing my suitcase, I was preparing for the opposite me coming to them but a few days into the trip, i noticed a pattern and i saw it clearest with one guy Steve my jaw dropped when I heard about his background worked with 100’s of CEOs, coached Fortune 500 executives all while being a girl dad he's a natural when serving his clients give him a whiteboard in a private room for a few hours and the guy will change your life careful though, he might charge you a casual $250k but the second he turns the camera on something changes he stops thinking about what he does and starts thinking about formats he stops thinking about his clients, and starts thinking about everyone else he stops thinking about his experience and starts thinking about his offer all of his personality all of Steve it’s gone lost a few years ago, i would’ve given Steve tons of content tips now, i knew he didn’t need any of that he needed permission permission to be himself to share his opinions, story and his unique perspectives (iykyk) he thought "creating content" was a different job from the one he's already the best at and that's the barrier most people have when the webcam is rolling in the private Zoom meeting, they feel at home when the FX3 is rolling in the studio, they feel like an imposter the gap between those two is the reason their content doesn't land a few years ago, i was also acting but an actor can’t act 24/7 i fixed my content by removing the barrier between delivering and creating sure, i get all of my clients from my content more importantly, i get all of my content from my clients they’re interconnected im not mentor Fred and creator Fred im just Fred to Steve reading this you got this best, fred p.s i got a lot more time the next few weeks meaning im happy to fill the last 2 spots for September past duedate here if you'd like to turn your client delivery into a content engine so you can be excited about creating, then reply to this email |
